In 2011, our special “The Gruffalo’s Child” was scheduled to air on Christmas day. After having watched some early clips in August the broadcaster BBC asked us if it was possible to also produce a station ident for the holiday season. We were eager to help. While the short had focused on the Gruffalo as a worried and protective father the ident gave us the opportunity to draw the audience's attention more to the daily fun part of their family life. 
Working on the ident felt pretty special for us since it gave Jakob the opportunity to join the team after having directed “The Gruffalo” two years before.
